Hello and welcome to the St. Louis Catholic School website! We are so happy to have this visit with you!
St. Louis School, Custar, Ohio is located in NW Ohio just south of Bowling Green. Our parish school presently has 34 students in grades Preschool through 6. We are under the direction of the pastor, Father Jeff Nordhaus, principal, Mrs. Richelle Piercefield, and a very qualified and dedicated staff who assist our parents in making known to their children the Gospel as revealed in the person of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
St. Louis School provides its students with strong educational programs that are designed to provide all students with the experiences, the knowledge, and the skills they need to be contributing members of our society. All lessons are enriched with an equally strong religion program that assists students and their families as they put their faith into practice. St. Louis School is proud of its consistent success in academic excellence. Its students continue to excel above the national level in secular subjects, and in the ACRE religious tests.
We are committed to Catholic education. We are proud of the excellent education and family atmosphere that is prevalent at our school. As educators in a catholic school, we willingly assume the responsibility to build a partnership with parents/guardians, our parish, and the civic community.
On behalf of the faculty and staff we hope that your website visit is a pleasant one. We invite you to come and see us anytime and discover why small serves us better than big in a school environment!
-- Richelle Piercefield, Principal
The staff of St. Louis School is committed to educating the whole child: spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. St. Louis School strives for academic success in an environment infused with Catholic values and supports the parents as the primary educators of their children. It is hoped that through this education each child will develop into a mature adult and is able to meet the challenges of the future and to live out the Gospel message of service to the Church and the community.
